Focus Laser Scanners

Focus laser scanners are non-contact devices that use laser infrared technology to produce accurate 3D images while collecting millions of discrete data points to measure an object or location. A point cloud, or collection of millions of 3D data points, makes up the photos. These are mostly used to create 3D scans (or models) of building elevations, floor layouts, tunnel profiling, and rail/motorway bridges in addition to topographic mapping. On locations where highly precise 3D measurements must be taken and precise models produced, or where access is challenging, focus laser scanners are effective. These are the most widely used type of scanner for home use.
